CAKES & CELEBRATIONS
GO Houghton allows guests to bring their own cakes. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure the cake adheres to any party guests’ allergens. GO Houghton will bring the cake out in our unique and signature style for that extra wow factor.
REVIEWS
Reviews have become a large part of the restaurant scene over the last few years. We welcome guests to post reviews or comments on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or TripAdvisor but encourage these to be constructive and honest. If you did have any issue with service or products we would certainly appreciate if you please speak to one of managers or email us at info@gohoughton.com in the first instance. This will allow us to discuss the circumstances to give us opportunity to understand the nature of issue and action as necessary.
MENU & ALLERGENS
We are proud that our menu encompasses 5 unique cuisines. Our menus are subject to change in description or price where necessary. All items are subject to availability. Note for Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free or any other allergic guests our food may be fried in the same oil, but if you have any specific requirement to be fried in separate oil please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

BOOKINGS
When booking through our online system, your reservation is not confirmed until you have received an email confirming your reservation from us. If you have not received an email, we would also recommend checking your junk/spam mail in case your email provider has mistakenly marked it as such or call us on 01582 863322 to obtain confirmation. GO Houghton retain the rights to cancel bookings with or without notice at a later stage should the need for such be required. Should this be the case and a deposit has been lodged, we will refund this in full.
We require deposits for parties over 8 guests, which you can pay in person or over the phone. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill on the day of your reservation.
Our team at GO Houghton are committed to giving you a great experience, they will allocation seating as appropriate as possible. Should you have any specific seating requirements, please contact us and we will try our best to adhere to your request, where possible.
CANCELLATIONS
GO Houghton reserves the right to cancel any bookings without any compensation if deemed necessary, except where the deposits are paid they would be returned in full.
VOUCHER RECALL
GO Houghton reserves the right to call and cancel any outstanding vouchers at any time and refund back the face value of vouchers to the purchasers or voucher holders on return of the vouchers. Two courses would be worth £20 per head and three courses would be worth £25 per head.
DRESS CODE
We do not have a defined dress code and we would welcome you to wear whatever you feel is comfortable and socially acceptable. Should a guest’s attire and overall presentation not adhere to our code, our team reserves the right to deny access to the restaurant.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG USE
No alcohol will be sold at all to anyone under 18 years old. We operate a strict challenge 25 policy, therefore identification will be required if you wish to purchase alcohol. It is our staff’s prerogative to ask for ID if you look under 25 years old. Alcohol purchased outside of the premises for consumption on the premises is strictly prohibited; premises include all the seating, car parks and grass areas surrounding the restaurant
We have ZERO tolerance to drugs and drug use. Should we suspect or discover this, we will report this to the local authorities and Police and assist them with their enquiries where required.
TIPS
We are very proud of our award winning restaurant and we are very grateful of all tips received from our guests. Our tips are shared between our kitchen and front of house staff and are split proportionally based on hours worked, capped at 48 hours per week, and may have an administration split of up to maximum 10%.

PAYMENT
All goods and services are to be paid for before leaving the premises, any default payments will be reported to the local authorities with supporting evidence. We are pleased to accept most major credit and debit cards. We also have a contactless function for payments of less than £30. We do not accept cheques as a method of payment. Should we suspect any possible counterfeit notes we have the right to refuse, retain or request an alternative note.
COVID-19
Following the Covid-19 situation, we will adjust many elements of our business to ensure we are safe and secure and following the necessary guidelines. These include but are not restricted to; amending our booking policy, changing our ordering system, changing the process of serving food & beverages, one-way systems, sanitation, PPE, opening and serving times. The processes will change from time to time as the government relaxes or implements measures for bars and restaurants, these updates will be placed in a notice at the restaurant.
